Accommodation in Korea

World Link Education makes all accommodation reservations and preparations for the participants in the total program. A wide range of options is offered to suit different needs. For the privacy and convenience of participants, single rooms are provided. Double rooms are available for two students coming to Korea together and studying for the same duration.

Accommodation reservations are made as soon as applications are received. The accommodation is finalized and confirmed only when the participant has fully enrolled and paid the program fees.

Accommodation starts the day before the first day of the program until 12:00 noon the day after the last day of the program. For example a 4 week
program starting on Monday, June 6 will have accommodation from Sunday,
June 5 until 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 2. Additional nights accommodation before or after the program are subject to availability. A maximum of 3 additional nights is available. For 4 nights or longer, weekly rates apply.

In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide your arrival details, such as day of arrival, time and place, at least 10 days prior to your arrival. This will enable advance notice to be given to host families and arrangements for keys to the Studio or Studio Residence to be handed over upon arrival.

Host Family

Live in a welcoming home with a Korean family and learn about the culture and traditions while improving your Korean. Host families have been interviewed and selected by onsite staff. Factors taken into account when selecting families include the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (that breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced), family presence and the family's ability to welcome international guests. Special requests should be stated clearly in the Application Form. Requests such as diets, allergies, non-smoking household or no pets, will be taken into account when placements are made.

Breakfast is provided daily. As this is the most popular option, early application is highly recommended.

*Applicants choosing Host Family accommodation please submit the Host Family Questionnaire, click here

Lodging House (Hasook)

Similar to a Host Family, this option provides the opportunity to improve your Korean and learn about the local culture and traditions through regular contact with a Korean family. However each Lodging House may host 5 to 10 students. Each room is furnished with bed, desk and chair. Breakfast is provided daily.
